I am a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Project Management Association Japan (PMAJ), and the Japan Software Engineering & Management Society(SEMS).

For more than 30 years I’ve worked in the Information Technology (IT) industry in Japan starting with Hitachi Co. Ltd. as an operating system (OS) programmer, moving to Digital Equipment Co., and then NCR Japan.

While I was at Digital and NCR, most of my time was spent on project business and I drove several programs for business quality and performance. I established a PMO (Project Management Office). Through the PMO I was able to implement a Project Management System, a Project Accounting system, a Project Pricing systems, and Activity Reporting and Tracking System, and many other systems used successfully for business quality and performance improvement.

I’ve enjoyed my work in the IT industry project business area a great deal. Currently, I run my own consulting business for project management.
